------------------------------------------------------------

A distant cry of agony echoed in a rundown building. A man laughed "Aksh, Bro kill him already. How long will you keep torturing him".

Aksh looked at his bestfriend rubbing the gun against his temple "Bhosdike ne mere saath gaddari karne ki Sochi bhi kese".

(How dare this bastard even thought of betraying me).

His bestfriend shook his head, "Aksh kill him already, you have already broke his bones, took off his fingers and eyes, tch how long will you keep the torture".

Aksh clicked his tongue "Oh, so now you're feeling all compassionate krish?".

Krish sighed "Have you forgotten we have to leave for himachal too. we have an event to attend".

Aksh frustratedly groaned "Behenchod".

He pulled the trigger and shot the betrayer in the middle of his forehead.

The blood splattered on his shirt "Filthy".

Krish smirked "He was an idiot to betray the great Lakshya Singh Rajawat."

Lakshya looked at his shirt in disgust "Let's go. We have to leave too, and first I have to burn this filth."

Krish nodded "Yeah, let's go."

They left the building. Lakshya wore his sunglasses and gestured to his guards "Clear the mess." his guard bowed "yes sir".

He walked toward his sleek black Range Rover and sat inside before driving away.

Krish's jaw dropped "Saale, mujhe toh le jaata."

(Damn it bastard, he could've at least taken me along.)

He looked at the guards "Prepare a car for me."

The guard nodded "Right away, Patel sir."

Lakshya reached the Rajawat Mansion. His bhabhi, Mrs. Sadhna Singh Rajawat, and his mother, Mrs. Kamini Singh Rajawat, were sitting in the living room when he entered.

His bhabhi gasped "Aksh, is that blood? Again?"

Lakshya deadpanned, "Bhabhi, it's not my blood."

His mother glared at him "It doesn't matter whose blood it is. What matters is that there's blood on your clothes. Why do you always have to do these things?"

Lakshya didn't budge "Maa, in the line of work I'm in, these things are normal."

His mother grew annoyed "Lakshya, being a politician won't get you anywhere. Can't you see how dangerous it is? You can just join the family business - it's safer and profitable too."

Lakshya scoffed "Being a politician is not just a profession, it's what I chose. And please, I don't even want to argue about this matter. I'm leaving for Himachal for an event, and I'll come back the day after tomorrow."

He stormed off to his room.

In his room he stripped to take a shower. His defined muscles flexed as the cold water made contact with his body. The tattoos on his back and arms complemented his honed physique.

He walked back into the room with a towel wrapped around his torso. He changed into a white kurta-pyjama with a black waistcoat over it. He sprayed on his expensive cologne and rolled up his sleeves to his elbows.

He wore his sleek watch and fixed his hair. Running his fingers through his well-groomed beard and moustache, he heard a knock on the door.

"Bro, are you ready yet?" Krish asked from outside.

Lakshya walked out while closing the door behind him.

He walked downstairs with Krish. Bending slightly, he touched the feet of Sadhna and Kamini. They sighed and blessed him.

He looked at them "Aata hoon Maa."

(I'll be back, Maa.)

Sadhna said worriedly, "Dhyaan se jaana."

(Travel safely.)

Krish chuckled and touched their feet too.

Kamini blessed him and said, "Beta Krish, take care of him and make sure he doesn't get into any fights."

Lakshya rolled his eyes and walked outside.

They sat inside the CM's car with the red beacon light on top. Three sleek cars drove in front with guards inside them. Their car was in the middle, followed by three more sleek cars behind.

They headed toward Himachal.

Lakshya was bored during the journey while Krish scrolled through his phone. Lakshya closed his eyes, his jaw clenching slightly as he leaned back into his seat.

After five hours, they finally reached Himachal. It usually took longer, but the roads had been cleared for the CM.

On the other hand...

A girl was getting ready in traditional Himachali Gaddiyali attire for a dance performance at a sports event. To welcome the chief guest, she was part of the dance group.

She wore the traditional dress called a launchdi along with traditional jewellery - a Chandra Haar (a traditional Himachali necklace), chidi (a hairpiece), silver earrings, silver kangans, a dhatu (the cloth worn on the head), and a black dora tied around her waist to secure the dress.

All her jewellery was made of silver.

Her best friend called out, "Ritu, come! The chief guest is arriving soon. After the welcome song, our performance is first."

Ritu nodded "Coming."

She fixed her bindi and ran backstage.

Her friend nudged her "You know, I heard the chief guest is really handsome."

Ritu raised an eyebrow "Divi, really? He's a CM. He must be some buddha."

(old man)

Divishka rolled her eyes "Nah bro, I heard he's handsome."

Ritu shrugged "I don't care. After what I saw happen with Simu Di and Abhrit baby, I can't even imagine myself liking someone. I know Abhi Jiju wasn't wrong, but my Didu suffered for eight years, and I can't even bear ten percent of what she went through. Either way, I'm not interested in these things."

Divishka cringed dramatically. "Boring."

Ritu stuck her tongue out "At least I'm not annoying, kharbuji kahi ki."

(Unlike you, you melon-headed weirdo.)

Divishka shot back, "Haan haan, ek sadi papiti se toh umeed bhi kya kar sakte hain."

(Yeah yeah, what else can you expect from a rotten papaya like you?)

Ritu smacked her head lightly.

Divishka gasped "Bitch, if you ruin my dhatu, I'll kill you."

Ritu dismissed her "Abbe chal na, chal chal chal... chal."

Divishka pouted "Agar tu meri best friend na hoti na, toh abhi tujhe dhool chata deti. Par kya karun, aunty ke aloo ke parathon ka karz hai mere pe, warna tujhe yahin gaad deti."

(If you weren't my best friend, I'd have destroyed you right now. But what can I do? I still owe your mom for those aloo parathas, otherwise I would've buried you here.)

*Ritu's POV*

The sound of clapping echoed through the air, signaling the arrival of the chief guest.

I peeked from behind the curtain, and my jaw dropped. I screamed internally

*He is the CM? He is freaking hot. I thought it would be some old man, but I never expected him to be this smocking hot*.

My heart skipped a beat at the sight of him.

Divishka smirked and nudged me. "What happened... shocked?"

I nodded slowly. "I never expected this."

Divi's smirk widened "Jhatka laga?"

(Got shocked?) "I already knew he'd be handsome."

Many girls around us were drooling, whispering, and openly staring at him.

The organizer placed a garland around his neck and guided him toward the seat reserved for the chief guest.

After he settled down, the welcome song started.

Once the welcome song and the organizer's speech ended, the host announced, "And now, the group of girls from Central University Himachal Pradesh will present a dance performance in honour of the chief guest and everyone present here."

Divi nudged me, and we walked onto the stage, taking our positions.

I stood in the front row because of my short height.

My eyes met his for a second, but I quickly looked away.

The music echoed through the hall - a traditional Gaddiyali Naati.

*Lakshya's POV*

I reached my seat and sat down. I was already bored with the event, and the organizer's speech only made it worse.

I was using my phone instead of listening.

Krish nudged me when the dance performers walked in "Bro, at least look at the dance."

I groaned and looked up at the stage.

And for a fraction of a second, my breath stopped.

My eyes locked onto the girl standing in the front row.

She looked magical - so beautiful that anyone could fall for her instantly. Her beauty wasn't something that could be described in words.

As the music boomed and she started dancing gracefully, my heartbeat quickened.

Even though she was dancing in a group, my entire focus stayed on her.

I never imagined I would find someone this beautiful and intriguing.

Every move of hers felt like an arrow piercing straight through my heart. I was stunned and the moment she smiled, I realized I was completely gone.

*I forgot how to breathe the moment she smiled while dancing. I face the world without fear, but one smile from her and I forgot how to act normal*.

One thought kept circling in my mind:

*I will make her mine*

Krish noticed me staring and nudged me "Bro, control yourself. You're staring."

I shot him a glare "Shut up, asshole."

He smirked "Ohh, defensive much?"

After the performance, she walked backstage.

I found myself drawn toward her.

Clearing my throat, I said, "I have a call to make. I'll be back."

Krish nodded while watching the other dance performances.

I walked backstage. There she was, standing alone near a water tap.

I started walking toward her when a catering staff member accidentally bumped into me, ruining my kurta.

My jaw clenched, i growled angrily "You fucking piece of a shit! you ruined my clothes".

The man immediately bowed "I'm sorry, sir. It was my fault. I wasn't looking."

I scoffed "Your fucking sorry won't fix my clothes".

Before I could say anything else, she stepped forward with a frown.

"Excuse me, mister, don't you know how to talk politely? He's apologizing and accepting his mistake. It was an accident, so why are you creating a scene?"

I smirked slightly at her boldness "Do you know who you're talking to, little girl?"

She scoffed "I know enough about arrogant rich people like you."

I leaned down slightly, my face inches away from hers "Oh really? Then should I make him pay for my clothes?"

She clenched her fists, anger flashing in her eyes.

A slap landed on my face. My face turned to other side from the impact.

Before things escalated further, my bodyguard stepped forward, but I raised my hand to stop him.

This was the first time someone had dared to stand against me like this.

And strangely enough... it only made me more interested.

I held her wrist pulling her closer "You're bold, feisty little kitten, but I am impressed."

I leaned down and whispered in her ear.. my voice came out low and rough "You will pay for it..feisty little kitten".

She glared at me before storming away.

I dismissed the catering worker with a wave of my hand, and the poor man hurried away quickly.

Turning toward my guard, I said, "Get me information about that girl by evening." I walked back to the event.

Ritu stormed backstage angrily.

Divishka was eating a samosa as refreshment

"Kya hua? Tu gussail saandh ki tarah kyun ghoom rahi hai?"

(What happened? Why are you stomping around like an angry bull?)

Ritu explained everything to her.

The samosa nearly fell from Divishka's hand while half of it was still in her mouth, making her choke.

Ritu quickly handed her water.

Divishka stared at her in disbelief "Tera dimag ghaas charne gaya tha kya? He is a CM, Ritu! Are you mad? He's influential and comes from a powerful family. He will ruin you"

Ritu fell silent for a moment as fear crept into her heart, but she pushed it away

"I don't care. He had no right to talk to someone like that."

Divishka worriedly held her arm "I hope he doesn't do something stupid."

Ritu nodded quietly "I hope so too."

Later that evening - Hotel Room

Lakshya sat on the couch with a file in his hand

"Hm, so her name is Ritu Chambial..." he muttered "Nah, Kitten suits her more."

He looked through her profile

"Twenty-five years old. One sister and a mother. Her father left them when she was young."

His jaw tightened

"bastard."

Throwing the file onto the table, he leaned back.

A cruel smirk appeared on his face.

"Kitten you are mine now...I will make you".

He closed his eyes still smirking "You will get a surprise Tommorow...kitten".
