*Akshat's POV*

I woke up and saw my wife sleeping peacefully. How could someone look this cute while sleeping? I smacked my forehead. Are you out of your mind? What are you even thinking?

Shaking my head, I stood up and lightly nudged her.

She groaned sleepily "Mr. Jindal, let me sleep na."

I deadpanned, "Mrs. Prisha Jindal, wake up or you'll get late for your classes."

She groaned again "Who cares? My husband is my professor."

I scoffed "We have a personal relationship at home. That doesn't mean I'll give you leverage at university."

She jolted awake and muttered, "Mr.Khadoos Jindal."

Her hair was tousled like a bird's nest. I sighed and fixed her messy hair gently. "I'm saying what's right for you. You'll get late for your first class. Miss Alia is taking your first lecture today, that's why I'm warning you."

Her eyes widened "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I don't know what problem she has with me. She always finds ways to humiliate me."

She rushed toward the bathroom, almost tripping over her own feet.

I looked at her worriedly "Careful."

She grinned and dashed inside.

I shook my head helplessly "What will this girl do without me? Always tripping, clumsy, crying... but cute."

After some time, she came out dressed in a pink kurti and jeans, and damn, she looked ethereal in pink, like the color had been made just for her.

My throat bobbed, and my heartbeat sped up like I was running a marathon.

"She looked like the first blush of dawn spreading across the sky-her pink outfit soft and delicate like cherry blossoms kissed by morning sunlight, carrying a warmth that felt gentle, peaceful, and impossible not to admire".

She teased, "I know I'm looking beautiful, but Mr. Jindal, you should get ready for university too. Otherwise your perfect Mr. Jindal image will be ruined."

I snapped out of my trance and hurried toward the bathroom while she giggled behind me. Her laughter felt like music to my ears.

*Author's POV*

Akshat walked into the bathroom and removed his clothes. His perfectly built physique-defined abs, a honed chest, strong biceps, and an attractive back-came into view. His muscles flexed when the cold water touched his warm skin.

After taking a shower, he wrapped a towel around his torso and walked into the wardrobe room connected to the bathroom.

Prisha was there, searching for something. She turned and saw him.

"Ahhh!" she exclaimed, turning away with a blush.

He huffed "What are you doing here when you know it's my time to get ready?"

She stuttered, "I-I was finding m-my ea-earring."

He walked closer, making her breath hitch "W-what are y-you doing?"

He smirked "You are blushing, wifey."

She tried to rush away, but he pulled her back by her waist. Her back touched his bare chest. She gasped.

"What are you doing, Mr. Jindal?"

He whispered huskily in her ear lowly, "Akshat, for you, darling."

She gulped "Let go, na."

He smirked "You are fumbling like a bunny, sweetheart."

She blushed harder "Don't call me that."

He chuckled, a deep voice rumbling from his chest "What? Bunny... let me think... Nah, it suits you."

He took her wrist in his hand "Hmm, your pulse is fast. Are you sure you want to go to university? We can stay like this the whole day... bunny."

Her voice came out softer "Please let go, na."

He thought for a moment and smirked. "I will, but first..." He turned her toward him. Her hands landed on his chest as he leaned closer "Kiss me," he teased.

Her face turned crimson "H-how can I-I?"

He deadpanned, "My wife has rights over me, so you have every right to kiss me."

She slowly stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

His eyes widened. He had only been teasing her; he had no idea she would actually kiss him. His grip loosened, and she saw the opportunity and ran away.

He touched the spot where she had kissed him and grew shy. Rubbing his face with a blush, he murmured, "tumhari adah mujhe maar degi, bunny".

(Your charm will be the death of me, bunny).

He changed into a blue shirt and white pants. Rolling the sleeves of his shirt up to his elbows, he fixed his hair and wore his watch. Finally, he sprayed on his expensive cologne.

He came out and saw her struggling with the earring. An unconscious smile appeared on his face as he walked toward her.

"Let me do it for you."

She looked down shyly and handed him the earring. He took it and carefully fastened it for her.

They went downstairs. Sukriti, his sister, called out, "Bhai!".

She rushed toward him with a pout "Look what Lakshya bhaiya did, and we are only finding out now."

He frowned "Esa kya kardiya laksh ne ab?".

(What has Laksh done now?)

Prisha frowned too "Yeah, what did bhaiya do?"

Sukriti showed the card to Prisha. "Look, bhabhi, Aksh bhaiya got married without telling us."

Prisha and Akshat's jaws dropped. Akshat took the card and scanned it. "A reception card? That bastard got married without telling us? He's done for."

Aarti Jindal ( akshat's mother) scoffed "Ese toh mujhe maa bolta hai, aur mujhe btae bina hi shadi karli. acha sila diya mere laad pyaar ka".

(He calls me his mother, yet he got married without even telling me. What a reward for all my love)

Amrit said thoughtfully, "Wait a second. Prinjal studies is with our Gaurav at NLU. Then how did Laksh get married without her knowing?"

Akshat's eyebrows knitted together. "Let's go congratulate him this evening," he said sarcastically.

Amrit nodded.Akshat looked toward Prisha "Let's go."

Prisha nodded, and they walked away.

They were heading to the university in his Thar when a youngster suddenly tried to take a wrong turn.

Prisha's blood boiled. She rolled down the window and shouted, "Oye bhosdike! andha hai kya? Teri ankhein tere goto mein hai kya? dhang se nahi chala sakta? khud toh marega dusron ko bhi leke doobega!".

(Hey, scumbag! Are you blind? Are your eyes in your balls? Can't you drive properly? You'll get yourself killed and drag others down with you too!)

The teenager looked back sheepishly. "Sorry, didi."

Prisha sighed "Don't do it again."

The boy nodded and rode away.

Akshat stared at her with a dropped jaw.

Prisha looked at him "What? Let's go already. I know I am sanskari, now drive." ( Sanskari : well-mannered )

He gulped, mentally noting that he should never pick a fight with her.

When they reached near the university, she got down a little distance away from the gates so no one would get suspicious.

As she entered the university, she noticed a girl looking around nervously. She had never seen her before. Prisha walked toward her

"Umm, excuse me."

The girl looked at her politely "Yes?"

Prisha smiled "Are you new here? I've never seen you before... you look a little lost."

She nodded "Actually, today is my first day here."

Prisha nodded in understanding "Oh, it's okay. Mein hu na, I can help you. By the way, I'm Prisha Jindal" She forwarded her hand.

( Mein hun na : I'm here )

She shook her hand "I am Ritu Singh Rajawat."

Prisha nodded in acknowledgment. "What subject are you opting for?"

Ritu sighed dramatically "M.com honours in economics, mera jaani dushman."

(Jaani dushman : mortal enemy)

Prisha's eyes lit up "Really? I'm opting for the same course."

Ritu grinned "Friends then?"

Prisha pretended to think for a moment before grinning back "Of course, gurl."

They walked toward class together, chatting with each other comfortably.

Later, after classes, Ritu complained, "That sir, Mr. Akshat Jindal, how khadoos he is!" (Khadoos : strict)

Prisha chuckled "If I tell you something, you won't tell anyone, right?"

Ritu looked at her and pinched lightly her throat dramatically "I swear, I, Ritu, never ruin secrets, so feel free. I am the best secret keeper."

Prisha giggled "You are the first friend here whose company I am actually enjoying. Otherwise, I used to talk with others too, but they gave fake vibes, so I never really enjoyed myself. Okay, so the Mr. Khadoos Jindal you are talking about is actually my husband. I am Prisha Akshat Jindal."

Ritu's hand shot to her mouth as she squealed, "Oh my God, really? I am sorry"

Prisha nodded "Yup. And don't feel sorry he is khadoos!" Both of them burst out laughing.

After classes, outside the university, Akshat was waiting in his car for Prisha. He saw her walking toward the car, laughing freely-a genuine, pure laugh. A girl walked beside her with their arms linked together as they chatted naturally.

Akshat got out of the car and opened the passenger seat door.

Prisha's face fell "I don't want to leave you yet."

Ritu pouted "I don't want to either, but we will meet again tomorrow na."

Akshat saw Prisha's expression, and his chest tightened "Umm, Miss Ritu, you can come with us. We can drop you home."

Ritu's eyes widened "No, no, sir. Thank you for asking, but I don't want to trouble you guys."

Akshat gave a small smile that could barely be called one "It's okay. You can call me Akshat or bhaiya here; no need to be formal. And it's not a trouble. Prisha is liking your company too, and I don't want to see her sad, so please."

Being Ritu, she immediately replied, "Okay, if you don't want me to be formal, I will call you jiju. And ahmm... so much care for your wifey. Such a biwi paglu you are hah" She teasingly bumped shoulders with Prisha.

Prisha blushed "Rituuuu!"

Akshat looked at her with a are you serious? expression. One moment she had been polite, and the next she was teasing him without thinking twice.

Prisha asked, "Ritu, where do you live?"

Ritu gave her address.

Prisha grinned "Wow, really? We are going in the same direction."

Ritu smiled "That's good then."

Instead of sitting in the passenger seat, Prisha went to the back seat and sat beside Ritu, immediately continuing their conversation casually.

Akshat grumbled under his breath, "Wow, betrayal by my own wife. Now I am feeling like a driver."

He closed the passenger seat door, sat in the driver's seat, and started the car.

During the whole ride, Prisha and Ritu kept talking and giggling like long-lost sisters. But Akshat was happy seeing Prisha open up to someone. She always returned gloomy after classes because she had no real friends, but for the first time, she was genuinely talking with someone she considered a true friend.

They finally reached the street.

Akshat asked, "Which house, Ritu?"

Ritu pointed toward the RAJAWAT Mansion "That one, jiju."

Akshat and Prisha's eyes widened.

"You mean that one?" Prisha asked.

Ritu nodded in confusion "Yeah."

Prisha said in shock, "We are going to the same house too."

Ritu was taken aback "Heinnn?"

Akshat nodded "Yeah, it's my best friend's house."

Ritu's eyebrows shot up "Your best friend?"

Akshat nodded again "Yeah, Lakshya Singh Rajawat."

Ritu's jaw slackened "Jiju... he is my husband."

Prisha and Akshat's jaws dropped

"Wait, so you are the wife he suddenly married?" Akshat asked.

Ritu nodded.

They went inside the gates, driving along the long pathway leading to the mansion.

Akshat parked the car and opened the door for them.

Ritu and Prisha stepped out and walked inside the mansion. Both the Jindal and Rajawat families were sitting there.

Lakshya sat on the sofa with one hand on his head, a vein popping on his forehead and his jaw clenched-probably from all the scolding he had been receiving.

*Ritu's POV*

He looked up and saw me entering. Standing up immediately, he walked straight toward me, ignoring everyone else, but Akshat jiju and Prisha stepped in front of me like a wall, crossing their arms.

He frowned "Get out of my way. You can't stop me from meeting my own wife."

Akshat jiju scoffed "Not so easily. She is my saali, for your kind information, and I want answers."

He grabbed Lakshya by the collar and punched him in the jaw. Everyone gasped. Lakshya stumbled to the side, but a dark smirk formed on his face.

The next second, his fist connected with jiju's face.

Akshat jiju stumbled back "Saale bina btae shadi karli!".

(You bastard, you got married without even telling us!)

Akshat jiju punched him in the stomach in return.

Krish bhaiya stood up from the couch with a smirk and punched both of them "Saalon mere bina lad rahe ho, mujhe bhi nikalni hai bhadas".

(You bastards are fighting without me? I need to vent my frustration too).

I stared at them with a dropped jaw. Everyone else looked calm, as if this was completely normal for them.

I looked at Prisha and whispered, "Oye, what is happening?"

Prisha scoffed "Let them. They'll fight like animals and then make up on their own. This is normal for everyone now."

After they were done, they sat on the floor with bruised faces.

Akshat jiju said, "Now spit it out. Why and how did you marry her?"

Krish bhai scoffed and explained everything.

Akshat slapped Lakshya again "You idiot! Who marries someone like that?".

Lakshya replied without an ounce of regret, "Pyaar ho gya tha, usse mein psand nhi tha, toh karliya".

(I fell in love with her. She didn't like me, so I did it.)

Akshat jiju immediately pulled Lakshya into a headlock "You bastard."

Their mothers stood up and smacked all three of them on the head.

Prisha and I snickered.

We walked toward them. I crouched beside Lakshya and dabbed my dupatta over his bruise when blood trickled down. He hissed. I deliberately pressed harder.

He glared at me with those eyes again. Huffing, I blew softly on the bruise while dabbing it gently afterward.

Prisha inspected jiju's bruises too.

Krish bhai pouted dramatically "Wow, no one cares about me. I need a wife too. God, please give me one wife as well."

Everyone burst out laughing.

Maa laughed "Tuj jese baddimag se kon hi shadi karega?".

(Who would marry someone as crazy as you?)

Krish deadpanned, "sari umar mein joker ja baneya rhea".

The other uncle, Amrit, cleared his throat "Alright, now what is this matter about the reception?"

Papa sighed "The marriage happened under circumstances no one expected, so we thought of arranging a reception party where we can introduce Ritu to everyone and also meet her family properly."

My eyes lit up "Wait, my family will come?" I asked happily, as if I had just received the best gift.

Maa smiled warmly "Yes, beta."

I perked up "Can I invite my best friend too?". Maa nodded "ofcourse dear".

Prisha raised an eyebrow "Best friend?"

I nodded "Yeah, my other best friend from Himachal. We've been friends since childhood."

Lakshya patted my head, making me blush, i grumbled "Stop."

He only ruffled my hair more.

I deadpanned, "Please don't go from Daaku Singh Rajawat to Pookie Singh Rajawat."

Prisha burst out laughing while Krish bhai high-fived her.

Akshat jiju and Lakshya exchanged curious looks "Pookie?"

I smiled innocently "You both are the one, you know."

Then I realized both Prisha and Krish bhai were giving me teasing looks.

Prisha grinned "Lakshya bhaiya, she called you adorable."

I smacked her arm for saying it out loud, my cheeks turning red.

Lakshya smirked "Really, kitten?"

Papa called out, "You three idiots, go and change. After that, we will discuss the reception arrangements."

They stood up and walked away to clean up. I also went to my room to change.

As soon as I entered the room, I got pinned against the wall. I gasped and looked up.

"Lakshya, what are you doing?"

He smirked leaning down "I want to taste my strawberry!".

My heart skipped a beat at his low deep voice "What do you mean strawberry? i don't have one".

His smirk grew feral "Oh nah darling i don't want other strawberry, i want my strawberry!". Before I could respond, he crashed his lips on mine.

My eyes fluttered shut and arms wrapped around his neck on autopilot.

His hand went to my hips. My back arched as he deepened the kiss.

My knees buckled, he held her tightly to keep me grounded.

My lips parted unconsciously. He smirked and entered my mouth. He sucked on her tongue, a involuntary moan left my mouth.

He was pleased by my reaction. He went all teeth and tongue. When he pulled back- my eyes were half lidded, lips parted and swollen and cheeks flushed. He caressed my jaw "My strawberry tasted delicious like always".

I placed my head against his chest "You bastard!".

He kissed the crown of my head "Yeah your bastard, your nirlaj gunda, your asshole-yours to curse , yours to love, yours to beat, yours to fuck, all yours".

I smacked his chest "i hate you!" but there was no real heat in my words.

He chuckled

"yeah I love you too kitten".
